How to Turn your Android Phone into a Webcam?

- Download & install SmartCam software onto your computer and SmartCam android app onto your mobile phone.

- Once the installation is completed, run the software on your PC and go to File > Settings. Select “Wi-Fi” or “Bluetooth” as connection and enter any port number that you want to use on your mobile.

 - Now, open the SmartCam android app on your mobile phone and go to “Settings” > select “Wi-Fi”

-or “Bluetooth” as connection type (select the same connection on both the devices). Enter the same port number and your computer’s IP address (type “ipconfig” command in the Windows command prompt) in the settings.

-Once you configured all the settings, click on the “Connect Wi-Fi” option on your mobile (SmartCam app screen).

That’s it! Your mobile is now connected to your computer and it can be used as a normal webcam, that too without any cables i.e., remotely.
